Profile Great trio from the late 80s with “Magical Moments” to be their only release came out in 1988 from Metronome. All three musicians had previously been in the legendary Hamburg rock band Lake, having fame with the 1977 single “Time Bomb” even a heady in the American charts. Eleven years later, the musicians lose their record deal, so that keyboard player and singer Achim Oppermann, bassist Benjamin Cramer and drummer Udo Dahmen are forced to carry on with a new name, because they simply enjoy the music. In order to define clearly from Lake, messes Oppermann the pseudonym David Tao – inspired by the Chinese philosopher laozi, of his belief (Taoism). Although the band’s single “Magical Moments” gain fame and airplay the band except few performances in TV shows never go on tour together. If you like bands like Drama Channel 5, Yaya and Jojo check it out.
