Profile Released at the Christian Hänssler Music label, the selftitled album from Straight Ahead is one of the hardest to find indie AOR / Westcoast albums from Germany. Musically you can expect wonderful arranged 80s songs with swirling keys, nice guitar fills all over, lots of catchy hooklines, classic Westcoast arrangements, tasty backing vocals and a crystal clear sound and of course great musicianship!

Opener “Der Albatross” starts with tasty keyboards and leads into a catchy chorus that remind of Damaris Joy meets Toto, while the following “Es Gab Zeiten” is a classic Westcoast tune: smooth and laidback with nice guitar work and atmospheric keyboards. “Ein Geschenk” features a catchy hookline in the vein of Eternity and sounds pretty close to the 80s stuff from Damaris Joy, while “Kirche” starts with mystic keyboards, nice drums and leads into a cool chorus that reminds of Toto meets Random Axis.
