Profile Stand formed in the early 90s and debut in the music scene with the album “Closed Doors” came out in 1995. The succeful debut album followed by a 5-tracks mini album titled “Day To Day” before they finally ended with “Encircled” released in 2000. They used to be the Backing Band when Mr. Kulick toured there. What’s on tap here is a heaping dose of smooth and classy melodic rock. At times, acoustic and pop rock elements are added to the mix along w/a slightly modern touch. The opener, “Somebody’s Waiting,” turns the guitars up a bit compared to the rest of the album, but this record’s true strength lies within the vocal harmonies and mildy melancholic melodies. Both records especially their first are hard to be found nowdays.
