Profile Excellent hard rock ‘n roll here. Ex Keel (Bobby Marks), and pre Arabia band (Blaze, Marks, Jordan). Their debut was a good 80’s influenced hard rock album, with “Madness” being a tad heavier, but nevertheless, still melodic, with a, at the time, more contemporary feel.As mentioned above, three members formed Arabia, which for all intents and purposes, was Scarecrow reinvented, as a 3rd of the Arabia tracks were taken from the Scarecrow debut.
From the rough-edged, scratchy sounding vocals to the guitars with catchy hooks to the harmonizing, this is a very nice collection of tunes. Includes a killer cover version of the Hot Chocolate’s & Stories song “Brother Louie” from the 70’s. Also, a song titled “Love Love Me Do” which is their own song but has a little Beatles sampler of their same-named title starting it off. Just plain good ‘ole fashion late 80’s/early 90’s hard rock ‘n roll done up right. Definitely hard to compare them to anyone as they have a unique overall sound for sure. A far stretch…but maybe harder and rougher versions of Cinderella/Britny Fox.
