Profile Very much like a softer version of Toto, Say made a good album here. It sounds early to mid 80’s, so it’s quite a surprise to see it was released in 1992. Incorporating elements of funk into their pop-rock sound, this is a lively collection of tracks with a pleasant feel good vibe. The title track is excellent, as are the ballads ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ and ‘Nobody Else’.
‘Take It’ and ‘Out Of Your Mind’ are nearly as good. To be honest there is nothing bad on the album. Even the slower moments have a certain appeal. A real winner, if you want your rock soft and smooth like a worn pebble. Recommended for fans of Passion Street, Mark Free’s “Long Way to Love” …!
