Profile Out from California coming another promising band that never got the chance to get something bigger. Saigon Saloon formed in 1987 and quickly built a following in Hollywood with a raucous reputation and a sound more akin to what they heard across the pond rather than what was happening in ol’ tinseltown. They became local legends receiving what can only be equaled to as rock star status, albeit without even as so much a record deal. They play the typical glam rock of the period with some bluesy parts in the vein of bands like Syanide Kick, Stars from Mars, Faster Pussycat and Tryx and being active till 1991 when they disbanded.
