ProfileĀ Ronnie Spector will be remembered (by the masses) for being a part of the Ronettes and being married to the now (in)famous producer Phil Spector. Others still will recall her massive contribution to Eddie Money’s U.S. #5 hit, ‘Take Me Home Tonight’. It sadly will be only a few who will recall she even cut this album (following the success with E. Money) in 1987. Whilst it does lean largely towards the Pop Rock market (much like the obscure album released by Marie Vidal of Desmond Child & The Rouge fame) it does have it’s place within the genre alongside the likes of Marilyn Martin and the aforementioned Marie Vidal.

AOR Lite would best sum up this release and boy is it a cracker. Featuring the tracks ‘Love On A Rooftop’ by Desmond Child & Diane Warren (Desmond would also cover this track on a later solo album), ‘Dangerous’ by Billy Steinberg & Tom Kelly (I-Ten) and ‘Say Goodbye To Hollywood’ by Billy Joel as a bonus track there is a lot to love here. Musicians and vocalalists appearing include Peppy Castro (Balance), Bruce Kulick (KISS), Eddie Money, Marie Vidal, Desmond Child, Anton Fig (Spider) and Susanna Hoffs (Bangles).
