John Sykes – Nuclear Cowboy [2000]

Nuclear Cowboy is another amazing release from Sykes containing heavy riffs, interesting songs, awesome solos, and a bit of extra production. John Sykes is a true guitar God and an amazing songwriter that produces very creative albums. This album is a little different to what you’re used to hearing from John Sykes as it contains alot of electronic production including drum loops and techno tinged percussion but it is still a great CD from an unbelievable musician.

You won’t be dissapointed with anything that Sykes produces. Highlights include the killer riffs of “Arc Angel”, the moody track “Talking ’bout Love”, and check out the beautiful power ballad on here called “I Wish It Would Rain” – pure Sykes with a massive solo with his signature vibrato! Nuclear Cowboy is highly recommended to all fans of John Sykes willing to follow him into a slightly weird style of rock music.
