Profile Paola De Mas, born Paola Damiano, hailed from Napoli and is the singer of the group “Sud Express”. Back in 1991 she released her first solo album via Fonit-Cetra Records and produced by Alberto Salerno (Alberto Fortis,Walter Foini,Mango,Aida). The opening song “Notte Di Periferia” released also as a single with a minor success in the radio. The album moves in the paths of melodic rock with a poppy touch. The production is tight and the songs hot as hell. The powerful opening “Notte Di Periferia”, “Pioverà”, “Dimmi Di No” and “Vivo” are songs that worth your attention on this album. After she took part in Sanremo festival in 1991 she decided to withdrawal due to her own reasons before she returns in act after the phone call of drummer Franco Del Prete former of Sud Express.
