Profile P.n.8 is a German band that usually plays cover versions of well known songs on Festivals or bigger Events… This is their only album with self written songs. Musically P.n.8 deliver excellent and catchy AOR with dominating keybaords but also with nice guitar work. “What You See” opens the album with a full blown keyboard sound and a memorable sing-along melody, while “Missing You” is a mood-lifting uptempo summer-song that comes along with big keyboards that sound a lot like Fingerprints.
On “Stand By” there are cool guitars all over and also a catchy hookline while the great “happy People” again has these Fingerprints-like big keyboards and a great refrain that reminds Ultranite. Some Channel 5 meets Mindwork can be found on “Dance Tonight” or the wonderful ballad “Miss You Like Crazy”. Well, this is another obscure indie that worth the search.
