Country Norway

Style Melodic Hard Rock

Profile PB used to in a Norwegian band called Winter Parade, which released two albums (Midnight In Paradise [MTM Music] & Two [Perris Records/Spiritual Beast]). After the 2nd album, the band dissolved, and he teamed up with the Bjorn Westum, the vocalist from WP, as well as fellow acquaintance and guitarist, Tore Meli. Tore had been a sought-after musician and sound technician in the area for decades, but was willing to invest time in this band. After a while, it became clear that Bjorn didn’t have the time to commit to the band, and so they were a vocalist short for a period of time.

Out of the blue, Lee came into the picture, and his presence injected newfound vitality into the songs. For those of you who are not familiar with Lee, he is a London based singer who has contributed his signature vocals on a number of records, including Shy and Phenomena, as well as recording a number of solo albums. Lee joined Snowfall in the Atumn of 2010, and working in-between his touring schedule, he finished his vocal parts in January of 2011.

With that in the can, the band started to prepare for the drum tracks. Sadly, the original drummer (Terry Follien from Winter Parade) was also incapable of tracking the songs, due to circumstances beyond his control, but the producer, came up with a substitute to lay down the grooves……..but again, he also had to buck out of the race. Finally, Perra Johansson (Coldspell) took on the drum duties, and boy was it done with class!

The deal with Escape Music and JVC Victor Entertainment was inked in November 2012, with the release date set for 19 April 2013. The songs are a joint venture between the three of them, and it shows in the maturity of the material. A mixture of riffs, hooks and elaborate arrangements make the debut album – “Cold Silence” – an experience that’ll grab you by the ….rhymes with halls….and cling to it for dear life.

Add in the sonic superiority developed at JM Studio, Gothenburg, between December 2012 and January 2013 by knob wizard Martin Kronlund, as well as influences ranging from Journey, Whitesnake, Van Halen, and Extreme, and you’re in for a treat!
