Style Hard Rock/Heavy Metal

Profile Razorrock was founded by school mates Elia “Vecio” Gamboni (guitars and vocals) and Fabio “Fireman” Goldhorn (guitars) in 2005. They start rehearsing just for fun in Fireman’s rehearsal room and shortly afterwards his brother Nicola “Brother” Goldhorn joins them on bass.

The search for a drummer started and for a long time the band played without one. Eventually, in 2010 Gallo joins the band on drums and the band can finally play its first gigs. The razors start to work as hard as possible and in 2011 the demo “Roll, Hard and Heavy” containing 9 songs is released.

In mid 2011 Gallo got kicked out of the band and Mattia “Speed” Togni takes place behind the kit. Thanks to this change, the band gains more groove and power. Later Vecio decides to concentrate on vocals only to give more energy to live gigs, so Martino “Zac” Pedrazzini joins on solo and rhythm guitars.

For more than 2 years, the line-up remains stable and plays many gigs including some band contests in their home region reaching the chance to play in front of thousands of people. In early 2015 Zac decides to leave the band because of his job and Demis “Eddy” Wydler readily jumps on the ship. This line-up change was thoroughly organized so that Zac could still record the new album, while Eddy could then support the album live.

The new LP “Electric City” is released on February 2015. The band recorded at McSimon Studio in Como, Italy, which also handled mixing and mastering. The album, out on CD and on digital stores, contains 11 tracks with two guest, Ivan McSimon (owner of the studio and guitarist of The Kreoles) on guitar solos and Claudio Togni on harmonica. The album was completely self-produced by the band with the support of fans, relatives and friends.
