Midnite Sun

Country Italy

Style Hard Rock

Profile Midnite sun’s journey started in 2000 with the band immediately busy in its own first live experiences. After some line up changes that stabilized in 2003 and the band focused its goals on composing original tunes which earned its first discographic deal with the Italian label Adrenaline records. In 2005 came out “Groovin sexplosion”, the first official studio album world wide distribuited.
To promote the record the Band started an intense live activity and through many headliner gigs in the most important Italian’s club had the possibility to play as the opening act for names like: U.D.O., Oliver Dawson’s Saxon, Ian Paice, Dare, John Lawton…

In 2007 Midnite sun started its first european tour opening for reunited House of lords, playing in some of the most important european clubs, experience repeated during 2008… It may have taken them almost 7 years to release their sophomore album, but I think that these Italians are in the right way generally. Their new updated rhythm section includes the drummer Mike Galletto (Replosion) who joined in 2009 and the bass player Marco Nicoli (The Unripes, Sutuana).

Of course the bass in the album was recorded by Marco Morelli and on tracks “Lost in a Killing Field”, “Mind the Gap” & “Inferno” the drums were played by Alessandro Mori. The aforementioned songs were also recorded, mixed & mastered by Davide Di Marcantonio at Dimastudios in Mantona, Italy. The rest of the album was recorded by Burato Oscar at Atomic Stuff Studios, mixed by Vitt Magro and mastered by Vitty Magro & Carlo Cantini at Digitube Studios in Mantona, Italy.
