Profile This is a superb slab of pompous AOR with plenty of bite in the guitar department. London Drive was formed in 1987, and toured the Midwest region extensively through the nineties. They released a CD through Infinity Records in the U.K., in 1996, and were highly rated in the European Rock Report. London Drive has become a big group of musician friends, and you’ve seen a variety of different players in the band, including members of Head East.

As for the song “Round Trip World” is a very good song, “I Got It” is rocky and catchy, “Someone Like You” is ala Toto, “Turnin’ The Wheels” is a highlight in here, good AOR with good guitar parts courtesy of Murtha(a talented guitar player for sure), “Prison Walls” and “Line Of Fire” are also enjoyable, “Rain” is a nice semi ballad, “It Couldn’t Happen To Me” is quite excellent too, “Now That You Are Gone” is another AOR favourite, “Rhythm Of The Night” is a rocky one, “Man With A Vision” is definetely a hit song and “Never Land” is quite cool… Fans of Le Roux,Journey etc will lap this one up! Why it’s not better known amongst AOR fans is a mystery to me.
