Profile Starting out as an acoustic duo in Burlington, Ontario, the songwriting team of Jeff Harrison & Adam Siddall formed Jester’s Destiny in 1994. Harrison (bass, vocals) and Siddall (guitar, vocals) recruited Bob Kavanaugh (drums) and Eric “Too Fast” Gnass (lead guitar) to fill the roster and create what would become some of the area’s most enduring indie rock and roll.
Releasing their first album, Royal Pain in 1995, the band scored a radio hit with the song, Whiskey Lake, a song penned by Siddall and Harrison about good times back home in Nova Scotia. The band split soon after, in 1996, but went on to sell thousands of copies of their Royal Pain album. Currently the members are involved in other projects, but have plans to release a “Tenth Anniversary Collector’s Edition” of Royal Pain. Similar to bands like Balony Ponyz, Kid Cardiac and KK Wilde.
