Profile Hilljack was a hard rock band hailed from Midwestern city of Columbus, Ohio fronted by Michael Hannon. After a few lineup changes, Hannon (along with drummer Keith Pickens) went on to form American Dog. Central PA was the first area that the band played Headline shows, back in June of 1996. Hilljack released a self-titled album in 1997 on the Standing Suitcase label. The name Hilljack comes from a Central PA Dutch “slang” which means “Blue Collar Guy” or just a “Regular Guy” (The Average Joe).
