Profile The former Sheriff and Alias vocalist with his first solo album release. His multi-octave vocal range holds the ‘Guinness World Record’ for ‘Longest Note Held’ in a pop song, for the ending note of “When I’m With You”. In January 2009, Alias announced the release of their long delayed second album. This album titled Never Say Never sat unreleased for 18 years. The second album was recorded in 1992 to follow Alias’s debut album, but it was never released due to the rapidly evolving music scene of that time where Grunge was the new rage and metal was out. A few of the songs from this “lost” album were re-recorded and appeared on Curci’s solo album Dreamer’s Road, but the rest remained unreleased.

Mid-tempo AOR as fantastic as “Dreamer’s Road” or “All I Want Is You” was a scarce commodity in the heart of the alt-rock era. And this CD has become even tougher to find in recent times. Alias and Sheriff partner, Steve Demarchi, plays guitar and sings backing vocals. Even a young, pre-fame Alanis Morissette gets in on the action, adding backing vocals to Freddy’s cover of “Brown Eyed Girl”. In my opinion this is way to laidback to grab and hold your attention for a while. The man can better, he proved it!!!
