Profile This is without any doubt one of the most wanted, rarest and also very best indie albums from Germany ever! Face Why Face, actually is a duo that released their only album back in 1994 at the small indie label “Cool Banana”. The fantastic opener “Don’t Let This Sun Go Down On Me”, is a song you write only once in your life and one of the best Westcoast songs you may ever heard. It starts with a great groove and cool guitar licks in the vein of Toto meets PM and leads into a killer refrain you won’t get out of your head anymore in the vein of Toto’s great “Fahrenheit”-album.

“Drive Me Crazy” is another cracking song with a cool groove and another excellent refrain that reminds of Emerald City meets Channel 5, while “MIracles I” is a smooth and laidback Westcoast ballad. “Sunny Side Of Streets” does not only sound like a summer song, it is a cool mood-lifting summer song that brings a mix of Lava and PM, while “This Is Not The Way” mixes influences from Toto and Seasons in Color. The fluffy and lightweighted “If We’re Not Blind” even brings the style of the great Michael Ruff. The sound is crystal clear and the production excellent. So is also the musicianship and the lead vocals remind of a mix between Michael Ruff and Oliver Blau. Great and unknown gem…
