Profile Forming Bubble Gum Kid Records in the late 80’s, Benjamin, Eddie, Jett and Michael were to join forces for the first time. Their main goal was happy songs, with a high-energy bop beat. Contrast this with moody, introspective, and dark compositions that explored the nether regions of the tortured soul, and you’ve got the ying/yang dynamo that was Electrik.
Electrik has been famous in the metal underground scene for their stunning performance at Cornerstone Festival ‘91, as well as their incredibly good “Shine Candy Shine” demo. Electrik’s brand of glam/pop metal, with it’s sing-along catchy choruses, quickly gained a loyal following. In the late 80’s and early 90’s. However, it wasn’t until 1994 the band released their largely unnoticed seven track album, “Love Buzz Harmony”. Filled with larger than life hooks, it should have been a best seller. Unfortunately, 1994 was well past the Nirvana of Poison inspired, catchy choruses.
