Profile Dropkick Me Jesus is a rock band from Markham, Ontario and although they formed in the early 90s they manage to release their self-titled album years later. The band toured in around area with big success but they had problems with the band’s name as it can not be registered as it evokes violence in a religious context, and the name is scandalous and contrary to public policy. The band’s name comes from a best-selling 1976 country song by Bobby Bare. Throught the years mane line-up changes happened before the release of the debut album from H.R.H. Promotions in very limited copies contain some really well arranged tunes with nice harmony backing vocals and inspired guitar riffs. Unfortunately the band disbanded the same year and Nick Lombardi formed another project called “Attomik” released one album back in 1997 via Popli Records.
