Profile Dead Reckoning formed in 1987 was initially a three piece Canadian rock band from Long Harbour, Newfoundland. Mike, Perry and Tim who are cousins, started playing together for fun, with no actual commercial goals in mind. They soon started writing original material, which drew heavily upon influences from such diverse artists as, U2, Bob Dylan and Joy Division and created asound uniquely their own. They began touring nationally with the release of their first CD “Hollow Reason” (produced by Dead Reckoning and Pat Janes) in 1991, opening for big-name Canadian acts such as Blue Rodeo and The Tragically Hip amongst others. For fans of Tom Cochrane, Blue Rodeo and Ray Lyell.
