Profile For those of us who are sick of 90’s angst-ridden deppressing music, here is a tribute to the good old days when a grrrrrl was a babe and music had balls. D.O.A. plays rock music “like Hardrock from hell”, natively and thoroughly honest, the energy goes up and up on this CD. 62 minutes of driving Heavyrock with good, heroic melodies, and wild guitar solo’s.

Dead on Arrival (alternately and confusingly also known as (D.O.A.) is a heavy metal, psychedelic acid rock band influenced by the likes of Iron Butterfly, Uriah Heep, Vanilla Fudge, and Deep Purple. Drummer and Middletown, NY, native Rick Ferrusi founded the group in his home state, and provided most of the spirituality tinged songwriting direction. Dead on Arrival/D.O.A. convened an additional lineup of vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist Tommy Dee, guitarist Adam Frye, and bassist Mike LePond in 1991. The group issued Alive and Kickin’ on the independent Polo label in 1996.
