Profile George Cintron is a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter who is a founding member of the group “Cintron”- a band that dominated the 1980’s tri-state club circuit. As one of the top live acts, “Cintron” played over 1200 shows, including appearances with: Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Edgar & Johnny Winter, Mountain, Twisted Sister, Zebra, and Rat Race Choir.
George Cintron was also an early proponent of the D.I.Y. ethic, self financing their own recordings resulting in the 1982 EP “Cintron.” Cintron himself took over vocal duties, although bassist Greg Smith would be the next band member to quit. He was succeeded by Leo Greene. Very good energetic Hard/Heavy Rock having a great singer, great guitar and a fantastic drive !
