Profile “Rooms With Color” is the first release by songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Chris Wells. This record is an undiscovered lost gem, that AOR fans would go bonkers for. Chris Wells is a guitarist who plays instruments on all tracks – there are several different vocalists on this album, both male and female. His style reminds of WestCoast flavored AOR in the vein of Brett Raymond, Jay Graydon and similar artists. There are breathtaking, keyboard laced ballads, smooth AOR tracks, and some excellent musicianship overall. Standout moments are “Colorado Calling Me” and “Pulling It Together” which was written to benefit victims of Hurricane Andrew in the South Louisiana area.
