Profile Back in 1988, Danny Martinez and brothers, Joe and Rob Marone, came together to create the rock band, Caught in the Act. Soon after, they were joined by Anthony Trujillo. Their seld titled album released in 1989 produced by Aaron Swilley and recorded at Audioworks, Littleton, Colorado.
From a local agent in Colorado the band in 1990 came to the attention of Axe’s guitarist Bobby Barth who agreed to produce the band’s demo, but it would take five years before the band got the opportunity to released their first songs thanks to a deal with the Swedish label Empire. The band forced to change their moniker due to the Dutch Dance group to C.I.T.A.
The release contain original eight tracks but the last one “Caught in the Act” is a bonus track to the cd vesrion and very rare as it taken from a complilation created by a local radio station in Colorado to promote the local bands. The production is not the best but the songs are good with lots of keys, lovely hooklines, catchy choruses and many backing vocals, close to the style of Phantom’s Opera, Bon Jovi and Danger Danger.
