Country Canada

Style AOR/Country/Rock

This rock Goddess from British Columbia, Canada has definitely done things her own way, and with the release of her third album, she continues to do just that.

MONSTERS, produced and co-written by Robin’s long time co-writer, hit songmeister John Capek, is graced with the brilliant guitar work of Rik Emmett, Danny Jacob and Justin Abedin.

“MONSTERS is about rising from the ashes despite what happens in your life. Although the songs are my experiences, they still have universal themes that everyone can relate to.” Robin says about the project that was recorded in Toronto. “It’s melodic, classic rock, with a modern twist.” And Rock, it does.

It’s apparent who influences this self-proclaimed Kiss Freak musically, as she’s been described as a mix of Kiss, Def Leppard, Shania Twain, Heart and Pat Benatar. But without a doubt, Robin has a voice and style that‘s all her own.

Robin recently teamed up with UK’s TSM Promotions for the Monsters release in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia. The reviews are in, and they’re stellar. She also joined forces with Canadian companies Octobertunes, and Hevy D music to distribute a download of one of her newest songs “Fuel” via bags of Hevy D Kettle Corn.

Blame It On Rock and Roll, Robin’s debut album, was also produced and co-written by John Capek. It’s pure classic rock at its very best. Robin released Blame It On Rock and Roll in Canada, on her Rock Empire label, and with the national airplay, the acclaim and the numerous songwriting awards it received, it was enough to get the attention of A2 Records, a UK label.

The release of Hidden Power compounded on that, and made both albums Album of the Week on British Armed Forces Radio. With the success of both albums, Robin has been able to perform in Canada, Romania, Australia, USA, and the UK.

Whether she’s rocking out with a full band, blasting the crowd with an onslaught of guitars and pounding rhythm section and her magickal presence, or if it’s just her and her guitar in an intimate setting, Robin casts her spell. Robin Brock refuses to lip-sync.
