Rage Heart hailed from Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia formed from the merge of the Wuppertal band and Avalanche in January 1986. Musically the band change from the synth rock to melodic hard rock / melodic metal accomplished. The band consist from guitarist Sella Servi,, bassist Jorg Hufge, frontman Harald Rein, keyboardist Uwe Frinker and Ralf Fern on drum duties. In mid 1986 Hufgen replaced by Oliver Rossetti. In July 1987 the band add a new singer Thomas Erdelt who stay with the band for three months and replaced by Sven Strzyso. In the same year the rock promotion prize won in Ennepetal and in March 1988 the band sign a record deal with D+S Recordings.

Between March and April 1988 the and started the studio recordings of their debut album “Too Late To Return” that released in January 1989 with a new lead singer Rainer Thurn. In December 1990 the band enter the studio for the recordings of their second album “Beats Again”. On June 1990 on Cologne Star Club the band presented their new record with big fan acceptance. December of the same year keyboardist Uwe Frinker left the band and they split up a bit later.
