Style Hard Rock

Jaded Past was formed in late 2011 as a project for front man / singer / guitarist George Becker. Jaded Past will show to be a force to be reckoned with and will be planning to hit the road with dates near you! George Becker, the creative force behind Jaded Past got his start in music the old fashioned way…with the lure of bright lights and shady women. Since his high school days George has grown and maintained a reputation as a skilled songwriter and a dynamic front man. George credits his influences to bands like T-Rex, The New York Dolls, Kiss and Bon Jovi, along with a heavy dose of Steven Tyler.

Honing his craft in the bands “Hex” and “Rat Salad” he became well known for his wicked charm and stellar vocals, becoming an icon and consistent draw on the local NJ / NY music scene. In 1985 George exploded onto the national scene with his glam hard rock band “Wicked Sin”. With two pending spec deals with Atlantic & Polygram records, their reputation grew all along the east coast for their sold out live shows and notorious backstage exploits. Creative differences and internal turmoil led to George’s departure and re-emergence as a solo artist, singer and front man for several NJ cover bands.

In November 2011 a new chapter began with the emergence of “Jaded Past”.  A mainstream, original rock band, with a high energy live show, has been tearing up the scene with a sound reminiscent of Bret Michaels, Motley Crue and early Aerosmith. A self titled debut album Jaded Past was released in early 2012 and was co-produced by Steve Brown of “Trixter”. The album features the songs “Taken”, “Traces” and “Hurt”, which have become crowd favorites and have earned huge viewership on YouTube. This record has nothing but stand out, in your face, hard rock with an edge style but Becker’s vocals add a sense of warmth and professionalism to individualize every track, no filler here. The album also contains the covered remakes of Roxy Roller and I Don’t Like Mondays.

In 2016 they released their second album “Believe”, has a ground-to-ground hard rock melodic sound with a touch of West Central and especially bluesy but with a lot of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Album highlights among the more uptempo tracks, such as ‘Tattered’, ‘Taken’, ‘Do not Judge’ and ‘Hurt’, all with energy and passion where melodies and music are on the right track. Finely produced, “Believe” will catch the eye of Poison fans, Bret Michaels, solo works by Mike Tramp of the White Lion, even some of the late Tyketto period.
