Descarga’s members are the following : Antonio García (bass), Federico De La María (drums), José Tórtola (guitars), Mika Galán (guitars) and Toni Alfaro (vocals). Descarga wants to play a good rock music style and open it to new horizons.

The band started in early 2002, with a different line-up and under the name “Shurco”. In summer 2003, they entered the studios to record 5 tracks for their album: “La escena”, where they had guests like Fernando Asensi (Opera Magna) or Andrés García (Soul Atac). Thanks to the album, they managed to access the Festival Rockejat de Torrent 2004 together with bands like: Barricada, La Excepción or La Pulquería among the others.

In June 2008 the band released their first album “Lejos del Mundo”. It was recorded by Fernando Asensi in Massanassa (Valencia) between March and April of the same year, it included 11 tracks that featured a collaboration with David G. Álvarez (Angelus Apatrida), Pablo Monteagudo (Uzzhuaïa) and Fernando Asensi.

During those 2 years the band played in different locations, such as El Loco, Durango Rock’n Roll Club or La Nave in Manises, together with Uzzhuaïa, and in a new edition of the Festival Beniparock 09 of Beniparrell.

They were nominated 2º revelation band in 2008 and best song “Conciencia Sumergida”, (with Pablo Monteagudo – Uzzhuaïa vocalist-) in the Rockcultura yearly awards. “Lejos del mundo” gained good critics in web pages, magazines and fanzines like: Rockcultura, La Olla Music Rock Magazine, Rockestatal…

In March 2011 they released their second album “Desde Cero”, recorded in the Fireworks studios (Massanasa, Valencia), together with Fernando Asensi and Quique Mompó for the whole record production and under the label Producciones Malditas (Sublabel de Maldito Records).
