Profile Barracuda first started kicking it in 1989 with the world wide release of their first album “Open Fire”. Touring heavily in support of the release, USA and overseas radio began spinning Barracuda’S first hits, “Memory”, and “Superhero”. Expect a mix between big Hair Metal bands, like Black ‘N Blue and Motley Crue, some indie bands like Zaza and Hot Boy or Lancia and the German band Escape. That Means you get straight rock with big choruses and clistering guitars all over!

“In The City” opens the album with attacking guitar riffs and a memorable chorus that reminds of the Germand Escape. A cool Dokken-like guitar riff is featured in “Keep Me In Your Heart”, while”Thirty Years” is a typical sleaze / glam rocker in the vein of Black N’ Blue meets Motley and Lancia. “Memory” is the highlight for the melodic hardrock lovers, great guitar riffs and a full blow sing-along chorus. With “Superhero” there is also the compulsory power ballad that every hair Metal record from the 80’s has in the repertory. The album was was re-released as “Keep Me In Your Heart” in 2003.
