Profile The band came together in 1989 from the ashes of Tasmanian group Bigger Than Texas. Drummer “JJ Harris” had previous played with Australian band “Divinyls” from 1985 to 1986 before joining “Bang The Drum”. They released one album, a self-titled effort in 1990 on WEA Records, from which three singles, “Only You” ( top 40 hit), “Stay Forever” and “Passion” (which featured on the sound track of Australian film “The Big Steal” ) were lifted. Around the time that the first single “Only You” was sliding down the charts, they found themselves as the support act for Fleetwood Mac on their 1990 World Tour “Fleetwood Mac – Behind The Mask”. In 1991 the band split-up.
