Profile Annette Ducharme, also known as Anet is a Canadian musician and songwriter. She is best known as a songwriter for other performers, including Tom Cochrane and Lawrence Gowan, but has also recorded several albums, both as a solo artist and as a member of the band Don’t Argue With Her and Bowers-Ducharme (with James Bowers). As for the album it’s very adult contemporary, upbeat and backgroundish, in fact I couldn’t pick out a single if I tried. Apparently neither could her record company since there weren’t any singles from this album, however there were videos for “Sanctuary”, “Will Of The Gun”, and “Stay (Don’t Go)”, none of which I found appealing really. When you consider how long she’s been making music you’d think she’d have mastered the art of writing a catchy song but it just isn’t so. It’s not up my alley, but if that is your genre of music and you’ve exhausted all the big artists then you may want to try this one…
