Profile Allying Cry is a Mannheim based hard rock band formed in 1994. This is their second album released in 1998 on Maple Leaf Records, an album rather exciting than their debut album “Tracks” in 1995. The albums open with the rockin’ “When She Flies” but leaves no prejudice to the rest of the album. All the songs based on the melodic hard rock line but mixes many music styles. Songs like “My rage” and”Country bitch” follow the hard rock edge while songs like “Heart of gray” and especially “Spring King” the pop touch is diffuse.
There’re southern, funk even disco influences in the songs and that has as a result to confuse the listener. The titled song “Sunchild’ easily can be compared with Bon Jovi’s “Dead or Alive”. “I’m The Walrus” is a cover from Beattles while the song “House On Fire” is a synth rhythm reminds Saga with a psychedelic touch. The album is not a must have but still have a good level and some really good songs.
