Profile Indie Release from 80s style hard rock artist, 78 West with their mega rare and absolutely phenomenal release entitled, “Down Deep”. The band hails from Reading, Pennsylvania and they play incredible 80s style hard rock. The guitar work on this work is stunning. There are tremendous solos everywhere, and the musicianship is amazing. Too many adjectives to describe how good this disc is. I hear elements of Horse London, Sweet Revenge and Tangier. The band features a wonderful balance of anthems, rockers, and party style anthems. “Fear Of Flying” seems like the best song that Horse London never wrote, while the anthemic “Almost Good Enough” shows the band’s Melodic side. These guys sound like such polished musicians. This is solid AOR Rock to the fullest.
