Profile Yukon hailing from the South of Germany were founded in the mid 80s. They toured a lot what brought them a huge fanbase, played many festivals and won prices at several rock contests. In the late 80s they opened for acts like Cozy Powell or Leslie West. In 1993 the released their cd “Weight Watcher”, which was their one and onliest release. This cd features 8 tracks of excellent melodic hard rock with great musicianship and a fantastic vocalist. A few of the tracks got constant local radio airplay. The band split in 2000 but surprinsingly reunited in 2002. There were several changes in the line up. In 2005 drummer Bernie van der Graaf (ex Sinner) joined them but was replaced in 2006 by the well know Bodo Schopf (Michael Schenker Group). The band still exists and plays from time to time at summer street parties or in small clubs. This release which is pretty hard to find nowadays is another example for those bands that spend a lot of time and money in making great music without ever finding major importance.
