Profile VIRGIN are an all-girl-band from Germany who released their second album “2nd Chance” back in 2001 at the small Christian label Asaph and is long out of print and already very hard to find it. The 10 songs varies from catchy uptempo songs with cool guitars, to keyboard-driven midtempo songs and nice ballads. Musically the deliver some great AOR with wonderful female lead vocals and nice harmony vocals all over. The musicianship is really good and the production flawless. The two openers (and the best tracks in my opinion) “Time To Fly” and “Love Of Another Kind” both include great guitar work (they have two guitar players in the band), huge keyboards and of course catchy choruses, reminding me of Scarlet Rose meets Broke N’ Blue and Yankee Heaven, while “Light Up My Life” for example is a heartfelt ballad that could also be recorded from Barfly or Pont Neuf.
