Profile Trox were a five piece formed in the mid 80s in Newark, New Jersey, moving in the typical melodic metal paths of the period, gain some attention with a 4-tracks demo tape released in 1987. The band was named after Stanley Troch. The dedication in Name Your Poison liner notes reads: “A true visionary, owner of Troch’s Electric Pawn Shop. Thanks to Dungeon label in 1991 they released the album “Name Your Poison” released only in tape and be one very rare to be found nowdays. The band has lot of good moments on this record with stellar musicianship and good songwriting that should have been on any major label world wide. With the end of the band in the early 90s Tommy Glick joined another metal band called Frost Bite releasing three album till 1997.
