Profile The Gents were a Baltimore, Maryland based outfit played on the east coast throughout the 70s and 80s, while the song “I Can’t Take it” featured on the now-classic MTV basement tapes show in 1984. The superb songs here were recorded between 1976 and 1981, give us an excellent melodic rock/pop album with a doze of pomp/funk hits featuring nice vocal harmonies, hook laden songs and top notch production, while their songs in times reminds the style of Asia and REO Speedwagon. The album re-released in cd format from Retrospect Records under the title “I Can’t Take It”.
