Profile Slide Rare formed in 1994. That August, the group released its first mini-album, “Vermilion Vice”, which had decent sales. Unfortunately, shortly after its release, original guitarist Senon left, and was soon replaced by Kazuki. Under this lineup, Slide Rare appeared on the “Cry-Max Pleasure Super ~Loud, Trance and Violence for Extacy” omnibus in May of 1995, and toured throughout the remainder of the year. Ultimately though, Slide Rare disbanded in 1996. Cool guitar riffs and a vocalist who reminds of Alex Mitchell of Circus of Power or The Cult’s Ian Astbury.
