Profile Senda hailed from the City of Guatemala formed in 1997  by vocalist Beder Méndez, who had desire to arm aid and a band that could give a positive message for the lives of the others. They began playing covers of groups like, Senda, Vox Dei, Guardian, Petra, etc. This doing it in churches and schools, with the name of Abrek (that means to kneel down in Greek language).  After few line-up changes in 2002 the band started to write their own songs with the idea to present the gospel and the way salvation that is Jesus Christ, through a new alternative that is music Rock with a message centric Christ.

They changed their name to Senda while in 2003 keyboardist Sender Salguero joined the band. The same year two of the band’s song “Amor Incondicional” and “Tentacion” gain airplay from the local radio station and in 2008 they launching  their self-titled debut album. Features 12 songs, all sung in Spanish, who compared themselves to Whitecross and Petra . They also sound like Coda and Aleste, with infectious AOR/hair metal, and although the production is not the best you can hear some really good tunes on it. Not many people know about this rare release.
