Profile Joseph Armand Roch Voisine, OC better known as Roch Voisine, is a Canadian Acadian singer-songwriter, actor, and radio and television host who lives in Montreal, Quebec and Paris, France. He writes and performs material in both English and French. He won the Juno Award for Male Vocalist of the Year in 1994. In 1997 he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.

In 1993, Voisine had his biggest English-language hit to date with the single and album both entitled I’ll Always Be There, on which he worked with David Foster. The single reached number four on the Canadian music charts while the album reached number seven. Also in 1993, his wax statue was launched in Musée Grévin in Paris.

There has never been a more beautiful male voice that Roch Voisine and certainly this album shows the depth of the passion in which he expresses music. The choice of songs is disappointing at times – the music is interesting the lyrics lame… but even singing songs with no appeal his voice touches ones soul in its beauty and sensuality.

If you like Kissing Rain you will definately like “I’ll allways be there”. The songs are the same kind of love song . His voice is pure gold & the arrangements are fabulous. Most men could take lessons from Roch on his approach to romance. “I’ll allways be there, Wind & Tears and Stay” are just a few on this wonderful album. I like it that he sings English but it would be just as nice in French.
