Profile Roadside Attraction sound nothing like the mainstream of 1994. In fact, you’d have to go back almost 20 years to the mid-70s Doobie Brothers to find an equal-sound band. “Drifting” reminds me of pure vintage Doobies while “Passing Through” is a melodic Westcoast gem with great rolling keys. The ballads, “The Cape” and “Highway 99” are absolutely beautiful, like Jackson Browne or The Eagles. This is something of a concept album which starts at 8 am and thematically concludes after midnight of the next day. A true hidden gem!
