Profile Redeye was an American rock band from Los Angeles. The group released two albums on Pentagram Records in the early 1970s, and had two hit singles in 1971, “Games” and “Red Eye Blues”. The intervening years meant a change in personal lives, and a dissolution Redeye, at least in its original incarnation. This ultimately led Red to relocate to Colton, Oregon, where he became a Colton Legend both for his colorful nature and his volunteerism as Youth Basketball Director and Community Education Director. But the music was not gone for good, and Red reconvened Redeye with a new lineup. Redeye Mark II began touring and performing around the Pacific Northwest, and became a regular at the White Horse Saloon in Molalla, Oregon. This ultimately led to the 1987 release of a self produced/published album “Back To The Wall”, the album most familiar to those in Colton.
