Profile Nick Jameson might be better known as the bass playing producer for Foghat back in the mid/late 70’s. Or, as the voice-over guy and actor, who had a steady gig on Kiefer Sutherland’s ’24’ playing the role of a Russian President. But back in the 80’s, Jameson released his second solo album in 1986, and it’s an easy on the ear pop/rock listen, with a bunch of great tracks. For mine, the closer ‘Save Your Heart’ is a winner for those into melodramatic AOR. Not exactly representative of the Motown label in general (Duke Jupiter anyone), but if you can find it on Ebay, I reckon it’ll be worth your while.
