Profile You’re looking at one of the most sought-after AOR indies to come out of Canada. Nemesis is a nine member ensemble based in the Windsor / Essex County area, and has been performing for close to 40 years now. Nemesis performs a wide variety of music, including classic rock, oldies, blues, soul, funk, and new age and hip-hop tunes. The repertoire is vast and diverse having the benefit of a three piece horn section, several male vocalists, and a female vocalist.

“Dangerous” is one of those perfect AOR tracks and you know it the very second those cold-as-ice synth keyboards kick in. This song reminds me of “In The Danger Zone” by Greenway blended with 80s Asia. “Reach Out Hold On” is absolute Westcoast AOR perfection, while the closing track “Back To The City” is another must-hear highlight. This latter song reminds me of GNP (Safety Zone) and the Canadian band FM circa the mid-80s.
