Profile NAZCA was formed in 1983 by guitarist Hijikata Takayuki and keyboard player Sasaji Masanori, member of the legendary avant-garde rock-jazz band of the 70’s “Mariah”. Nazca is a hard-rock prog band and “Samarkand” is their third album came out in 1987. The band’s sound moves between fusion and rock paths with prog elements, well produced songs, strong arrangements with a great quality of keys, some catchy aor tunes and mellow ballads.  If you like Asia, Saga and IQ etc, you will enjoy this…
