Profile Nameless hailed from Schwyz formed in 1985. They played in local clubs and parties but they gain popularity from 1987especially in the around area. The band played cover and original songs. The song “Ruth (Bakteriä)” is the band’s most known song that also appeared in the compilation SZ-Rock released in 1991. Trademark of the band were the various lead singers and songs in Swiss German and English. Their first album “Funky Sexy Heavy” came out in 1992 produced by Lothar “Lolo” Märchy and was mixed by English producer John Martyr (Whitesnake, Marillion). The songs move to melodic rock vein with some funky and bluesy parts, similar with bands like Chering Cross, Stairway and Purple Heart. The band were active 1994 when they split-up. Extremely rare now days.
