Profile Los Angeles based band started under the name Rattleshack. On the album backing vocals had been done by Jeff Scott Soto (Panther, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, M.A.R.S., Axel Rudi Pell, Takara). Bassist Mark Behn and guitarist Mick Zane were previously band mates in Malice, while drummer Pete Holmes smashed the skins for Black ‘n Blue, while Behn and Holmes had played together previously in Kharma. Monster stomped in and faded away quickly, but the group’s mid ’90s release of Through the Eyes of the World is a throwback to the eighties rock scene.

The album’s freight train rollin’ opener, “Spirit of the Night”, packs muscle, and Monster chase the brash intro cut with the Mötley Crüe sounding “Fire in Your Eyes”. Shootin’ from the hip, Monster hang out “All Guns Loaded”, while the melodic “Say You Care” is the most accessible song from Through the Eyes of the World. The 1995 album peaks with “South Side Billy”, a bitchin’ cut that is backed by a don’t-fuck-with-us, bad ass vibe. “South Side Billy” brings to mind the under-rated Babylon AD. The eleven song effort adds “All She Wants”, and the heated album closer “She’s Got It”.
