Profile Misako Honjo, officially transcribed as Misako Honjoh is a Japanese singer of Heavy Metal of the 1980s. Her first two studio-albums are recorded with the complete Loudness line-up ! “Messiah’s Blessing” is her first album released in 1982 by Teichiku Records and produced by guitarist of Loudness Akira Takasaki who also wrote the tiltes for her first two albums. Bombastic guitar riffs, strong vocals and harmony choruses with a metal edge is what we have here.

The album contain four covers all of them sang in Japanese. “Warrior” is a cover from Riot, “White Room” is a cover from Cream, “Hell Is For Children” is a cover from Pat Benatar and “Lost In Hollywood” cover from Rainbow. After her second album that came out in 1983 she changed producer and style into more pop/rock fields but always she worked with producers and musicians who known the Japanese “metal” scene while she has co-operate with Paul Di’Anno. The LP is a rarity today…
