Profile The debut album of the Norwegian AOR band Millennya titled and “Time has Come” and released independently in 1998. There are eleven songs on the album which was very well-produced by the band and Terje Refsnes while musically the band’s sound varies between pompous melodic rock songs blend with some hard rock and pregressive tendencies. If you want to compare their sound just think bands like Arena, A.C.T., Asia, Magnum, Saga, Toto, Rush and Pink Floyd to name few. There are plenty of good melodies, vocal harmonies and catchy choruses on this album. The vocalist Jens Hagli is great and his voice is a mix between Steve Perry of Journey and Steve Hogarth of Marillion.

Songs that stands out are the opener “Faded Prints” a pure AOR song that can be compare to Boulevard but also the impressive “Don’t Wanna Be Here” having a great and memorable AOR chorus reminds Journey. The ballad “Heaven and Hell” is another winner with great vocal perfrormance from Jens and lovely piano-keys and “Storyteller” has a great mixture between pure AOR and 90s pop rhythm sound that definetely you will love, and If you like Strangeways then here “No Guts”, one of the best AOR songs you may hear with another wonderful chorus. Generally here we have an oustanding debut album and one of the better privately released you may hear and very rare as it was pressed in only 500 copies…
